Here is your chance to soar like an eagle in our yard.

The members of the Central Queensland Gliding Club would like to invite you to spend some time and enjoy a flight with one of our experienced instructors.

Feel the exhilaration as you fly silently over the grazing stock and irrigated fields. From your vantage point above ground, spot the local land marks as the aircraft circles in the lift. Feel the air get cooler as you rise up into the shade under the clouds.

Approximately 90 seconds for a launch and glider is set free from the cable to soar the farming area of the Banana Shire. Your pilot is one of our qualified club members. A great treat for visitors to the area as well as a fantastic day out for social groups.

Please note that due to the nature of gliding, flight departure times are not predictable and flight times will vary according to weather conditions. You will need to set aside most of the day to visit us.

What you will need for the day is simple. Hat, sunglasses,   sunscreen and a camera are a must.  You could bring a picnic lunch or pack an esky for a BBQ. The club has all the facilities, all you need to bring is the ingredients. It is also important to bring plenty of cool drinking water.
